A Quick Note on Boosting Your Energy

Simple Habits to Recharge Your Body, Mind, and Spirit

In partnership with

Hi friend,

Over the past two weeks, we’ve been talking about clarity—getting clear on what truly matters. Today, I’d like to share some simple ideas on how to boost your energy, so you can carry that clarity through each day.

Three Kinds of Energy

  1. Physical Energy
This is your body’s stamina. If your physical energy is low, it’s hard to keep up with your day.

  2. Emotional Energy
This is about managing stress and staying positive. When your emotional energy is high, you can handle life’s ups and downs with more ease.

  3. Mental Energy
This is the focus and mental clarity that help you work efficiently. When your mental energy is recharged, distractions fade away.

Take a moment to check in with yourself: How would you rate your physical, emotional, and mental energy on a scale of 1 to 10? Which area feels like it could use a boost?

My Personal Energy Habits

Here are three simple habits I rely on every day:

  • Physical: I try to take a short walk after one or two of my meals per day. It helps me not feel sluggish and generate momentum for my next task.

  • Emotional: I practice daily gratitude by finding any reason to thank God and be thankful for my life.

  • Mental: I use the Pomodoro Technique, working in 25-minute focused sessions followed by a short break, which keeps me productive without feeling overwhelmed.

These habits have made a real difference in my daily energy. You might try incorporating one of them into your routine and see how it works for you.

Your Energy-Boosting Plan

Here’s a simple challenge for the week:

  • Pick one type of energy—physical, emotional, or mental—that you’d like to improve.

  • Choose one small action to focus on for the week. For example, it might be taking a short walk after lunch, writing down three gratitudes each morning, or scheduling regular breaks during work.

  • Give it a try for the week and notice any changes.

A Note on Last Week’s Book Announcement

I recently sent an email introducing my new book, which dives even deeper into strategies like these. If you haven’t grabbed your copy yet, you can check it out here.

Energy is the fuel that helps bring clarity and purpose to each day. By focusing on simple habits and making small changes, you can keep your energy levels high and your mind clear. I’d love to hear about what you decide to try—just reply to this email and let me know your plan.

Wishing you a week full of energy and clarity,
